36 Weeks

I actually turned 36 Weeks this past weekend but went yesterday for my 36 week checkup. I can't believe I have less than 3 weeks-19 days! Yay- I think I'm more excited that I'm only a few days away from being full term. All is still good, just starting to hurt in my hips and having pressure, but other than that I still feel good. This time my anxiety is nothing like with Carson about when I'm going to have this one. With Carson I was so anxious about when I would have him or anytime my body did something I thought it was labor. Now I know that's just what the body does to get ready and because I have a date and time for this one.It is nice to know when I will have Lovebug, if all things go as planned. But who knows since Carson came 18 days early and that was defintely not planned.

I had my doctor appointment today and all was good. I go back Monday for my 37 week appointment and to register at the hospital. I only have 2 more appointments left.Nelson left Monday morning for youth camp and will be back Friday. Courtney and Maggie came to stay with Carson and me to keep us company and in case anything were to happen. She is 31 weeks and also has a 2 year old so we are helping each other. I plan to keep it pretty simple this week without killing myself. We got a new little water park here and figured it would be easy and not hot entertainment. The kids loved it so much we are going back Thursday.

Last Thursday was Brady's last day. We went to a spray park and had a picnic. It's bittersweet, glad to have just Carson and me, but sad that Carson has lost his best bud daily. Thankfully Brady's mom voluteered to keep Carson while I go to my last appointments and if I go into labor. Toni, Brady's mom, said I needed a break Sunday before Nelson left so she took Carson for the day to Kentwood to her parents farm to play with Brady and the family. He didn't want to come home, he loves Brady.
In Denham Springs, a new AquaPark opened so Nelson and I took Carson here for the evening Friday. He loved it, except the big bucket of water that dumped out. He seriously swam and played the whole 2 hours with his hands on his ears.
At church, our nursery worker loves to face paint and Carson wanted his like a tiger. She texted me and said he was going to scare mommy when she came in the room.Thursday night I had a girls night out at Superior Grill then in an Ultrasound room at the Lake hospital (for fun). One of my friends Mandi is an u/s tech and another friend Carrie is 16 weeks pregnant asked Mandi if we could go to the hospital and see if Mandi could tell what she was having. At 9 pm our GNO turned into a gender reveal party. Carrie's husband is in Iraq so it wasn't a big deal that the 5 of us girls went to see what she was having. When we got there Carrie and her sister Alaina tried to convince me to find out but my friend Mikelyn was getting in front of me and telling the girls I was not getting on the table. Surprisingly I wasn't tempted at all. Plus, Nelson would have killed me! Alaina and Carrie suggested Mandi look and tell them and they wouldn't tell anyone, yeah right. So still clueless about Lovebug, but my gut tells me a boy at this point and I've been on that for awhile. Luckily not much longer until I know!
