One Week Old

One week old already? I am just savoring every moment I get to cuddle with her. So far she just sleeps and eats. She eats during the day about every 2-3 hours and last night every hour. It was a killer waking up this morning. Recovery for this section has been much easier, not sure why but I'll take it.

Trying to show her redhair, but I can't get the right lighting. Carson is still loving her. Today he told me to hold him and let him be my baby and sing his song to him. He seems so huge compared her. He is having a blast with Honey being here. Everytime she comes back from the store she has a treat for him. Walmart bags are his new favorite thing because he knows something is in there for him. My parents took him to his first movie the other day to see Cars, he mostly loved the popcorn and nachos.

Last night my mom played in the pool with him while I tried to do a photo shoot with Caroline.

Since I'm nursing I wanted to see if Caroline had gotten back to her birthweight, 8 lbs 11 oz, so we took her to the doctor to get weighed. She was 8 lb 4oz when we left the hosptial and today she was 9 lb 5 oz, so in less than a week she has gained 1 lb. Maybe me looking like Pamela Anderson has something to do with that weight gain, and I don't look like her from the waist down, waist up is more like it.

Vacation Bible School started today so Carson is getting some time with his friends and out of the house. Well I'm sure this week will fly by and I'll be posting week 2.
