2 Months

I can't believe another month has past and Caroline is now 2 months old. I'm a few days late but here is what we have done over the past month:

Caroline had to go with me to the church nursery 2 weeks ago and I put her in a swing and she loved it and slept and never made a peep. So I borrowed an extra swing and she is one happy baby when in her swing. Proud brother with his sister. He likes to check on her but has no desire to hold her.

My chunckster is almost 15 pounds. I looked at Carson's baby book and he was 15 pounds at 4 months. I love her little rolls. We went to my parents house last week and Caroline wouldn't ever let my Dad hold her. Every time he tried she screamed her head off. Finally as we were getting ready to walk out the door she let him. He said she finally knew who he was after a week. She does like her mama. Tonight Carson started AWANA and I went with him so I left Caroline with the nursery worker. It didn't last long, she screamed until I would come in the room and hold her. She would then start smiling and fall asleep. I would hand her back to Michelle and within minutes she was screaming again. She does this with anyone in the evenings. Poor Nelson, she rarely lets him hold her at night without screaming. Nelson and I got tickets for the 1st LSU game in 3 weeks but since she screams in the evenings when anyone else holds her I don't get to go anymore. Maybe she'll be better by the Florida game in October.

She got to meet her cousin Leah. This is Nelson's sister Andrea's little girl. Leah is 5 weeks older.Carson found his old Halloween costume at my parents house and decided he wants to be a Tiger again for Halloween. Hope it's not too hot!We tried to get a shot of all 4 grandbabies. This was one of the best we could get. This was taken at around 7:30 pm, the evening, which means Caroline doesn't want anyone else but me.Carson was so excited to ride the 4 wheeler with my dad. He is now the only boy so he was ready for some boy stuff.Caroline and Miley are also 5 weeks apart. Miley was 3 weeks here and pretty much slept or ate the whole time.Maggie and Carson wanted to pretend to shave Papaw's hairCaroline meeting her Great Gram for the first timeMy church ladies gave Caroline a Sip n See, this was heading out the door

Time is just flying and I am slowly but surely getting the hang of having two. I think around week 6 is when is started to get a little more routine feeling. Can't wait to see what month 3 holds for us.
